Cypher is a music magazine created for the edgy ‘misfits’. With the first issue being all about the aesthetics of music, I’ve designed a series of spreads for the article “Boppin’”, with a hyper-electric aesthetic in mind. Since pop is all about having fun and being able to express yourself freely, I decided to adopt embossed graphical elements that almost look like they’re 3D objects popping out of the pages.
